No - just my way of egging Ron on and keep him moving in the one direction. I know he wants to make RTTC4 and we (collectively in SoCal) do to. Seems 2012 has seen a bunch of us tearing our cars down for one reason or another and I think RTTC4 is a collective goal. Call it cheering from the cheap-seats lol. Now, if he doesn't make it because he didn't like the sound system or he had nowhere to hang his helmet in back..... then there's gonna be some ass kickin'. I'm just sayin' :-)

Keep up the great work bud.
G.

I'm diggin' your updates Ron. Congrats on the continued progress. I was noticing all the stereo stuff you're putting in the back. I went down that road also when I first built my car. Given that you're sinking a lot of money into a lot of top tier racing parts, and having my own experience with my own car, I'd seriously suggest making all of that stuff easily removable. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. When you want to get really serious about lap times on the track, make it so that you can pop that stuff out(which it looks like you are/were already thinking about with the easily removable cage bars). I ended up doing that with my stuff also with quick disconnect harnesses, easily accessible mount points, and even a little velcro on some panels. Also went back and rebuilt all of my trunk panels last month out of lighter weight materials and shaved another 15lbs off of those. You've probably already thought about all of that and I'm just pissing into the wind here.

I'm thinking my rebuild will be done about late March, early April, so it'll be interesting to see who finishes first. I hope you do and I hope to see you and this gorgeous ride of yours at RTTC.

You know we're always good Gregg! No stereo or helmet issue would stop me from getting to an event, and if it did let the ass kickin' commence ... Will we make it? Like so many others here in SoCal, we're trying but the clock is ticking.

Chris great input and suggestions Brother. You've been down this path so you know how it goes: buy the stuff first firgure out the install second. This means the car is built for driving first, tunes are an afterthought...

P.S. The only trunk finishing will be exposing the cool functioning parts and Brett's superior packaging.
