I agree Al. The people here are why I joined. The cars are just a bonus.

I know, I know pictures......i am taking some today, posting when I get home tonight. The car sure is not much to see, but I have some nice engine goodies to look at.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Making me all warm and fuzzy.

Thanks Dave. I appreciate that.
Everyone has been very supportive and it makes a difference. Several months ago I thought I was going to have to sell the car. But things have changed for the better and now I finally get to build it. I am pretty excited about it.
And Greg doing what he did with the motor & tranny gives the whole thing a real shot in the arm so to speak.

I still have a bunch of things to get like sheet metal, plumbing, brake system, fuel system, interior...but a lot of the "big ticket" items are dealt with at this point.

Eric is one of the good guys... and I've seen his posts volunteering to help others on here frequently. I never sell parts... I just can't be bothered... but I keep them around until I find someone I WANT to give them to... that deserves them.

Eric --- It must have been very dark in the shed... and you never saw me with a tool in my hand!
WOW!!! That was very generous of you. Eric was one of the first members on here to give me a nice welcome. Nothing better than good people helping good people.
