Very nice. That car looks great and the paint looks killer!
Any interior pics?

How did the AC and insulation work? I might have to go back and add the foam you have on top to mine.
Drove the car 225 miles to KC Good Guys in about 95° heat.
AC worked great. Able to set the AC thermostat about 2/3, so the AC clutch would cycle off quite a bit of the time. Cycling the AC off also kept heat off the radiator. Insulate everything you can and seal all the gaps. It's too hard to bail out a leaking boat. There are other good material options to use also. Happy with the combination used on this build.

Also pleased with noise level. Not bad at all but still get a comfortable level of exhaust music.

Looking up info on "Hot Rod Drag Week" - saw a video with one of the cars going down the road and holding a pizza box out the window to deflect some air inside . After they stopped, it showed them with an infra red thermometer showing over 180° off the floor. Better insulate well.

Thanks for the nice comments!
Check out post #103 on page 11 for some interior pics.

Still need to build a console.
Anyone have a '62 - '65 Nova hood that I could get about a 12" strip out of the middle? Planning to fab a console using that raised hood strip. If you have a hood that can be cut up, send me a pm.
Thanks, Jim

Very nice Jim. Love that interior. Not too flashy and looks very comfy.
