What is the model of brake booster/master you are using?

Looks like a DSE Unit

Item # 050102 Brake Booster and Master Cylinder Kit - 1970-191 Camaro/Firebird

You are going to also need the reduced angle bracket if it's for a 2nd gen

050302 "Brake Booster Bracket Set (Reduced Angle) 67-69 F-Body"

Yes, the centers were painted body color then finished with a flat clear.
