Great decision Dave-O. Jake is one of the few, if not the only one, that has all the specs at his fingertips and will ratlle them off for his customers. He can tell you Roll center, IC, COG, Ackerman and Scrub. He uses his shiat with the big boys and it works.

I can't wait to see this go together! And no changing your mind Sir (Miss? )...
Yep I really liked that. Full disclosure is never a bad thing.

Miss?

Man, you are going to be pissed when you go through all that trouble and still get whipped by a big block car with a sub woofer and A/C.
Well that was strategic actually. Now that I've posted it there's no turning back. I've committed to it with a deposit and I've pretty much sold the subframe I have. Not really a choice at this point.

Hey when did Stielow add a big block and subwoofer?

Ha. Yeah the chainsaw must stay. I hope it still will mount easily where it's at on the new sub.

Yeah I hear ya on the shocks.

How was the ALMS?

WOW Dave, gone for a day or two, and 5 pages to catch up with. Congrats on the suspension. Taking a great step forward.

It's all C5/C6 stuff. In my case, I also purchased his DOM tubing custom control arms. They maintain the C5/C6 pickup points and also use a set of, oh crap, can't remember the name, but an aftermarket set of bushings.

You can see more of the pictures of my setup here if you are interested:

Unfortunately, I don't have anything assembled and running yet, but definitely looking forward to doing so!

Thanks Mike. It truly never ends. It's just a matter of how much and how fast apparently.

Hey thanks now I remember seeing you had his stuff. Glad you posted it. I'll check out the pics. What's your ETA for getting on the road/track?

Good question. In my current living situation, I don't have a garage to work on it, so all of my great parts are sitting at the moment. I've been trying to find a space which I could rent to move it all into and work on the car, but again, no luck...

Hopefully that is going to change soon! It's tough looking at the pretty pieces and not being able to do anything with them.

Damn Dave I was looking forward to having a shot at beating you with an unfair parts advantage. Way to bring things more even again.

At least I will be a member of the AC and subwoofer club
