Sorry for the delayed response... 4 days after leaving Pomona -- We've finally reached all the way to Willows, CA! That's about 495 miles north... on my journey home.

We left Pomona - and made it all the way to San Luis Obispo the first day (Monday). Backed the cars out - went to see Kyle and Paul Newman at Pauls house/shop... then up to Hearst Castle... and down California Hiway 1.

The next day we moved 2 hours north to Big Sur... backed 'em out and drove to Monterey and Carmel... and back to Big Sur...

The next day we got all the way to Yountville (Napa Valley)... After a too long shop tour and BS session with Roy Brizio... and then got into serious San Francisco afternoon traffic....

Today we made it to Willows, CA around noon - then backed 'em out and drove to Chico - then down to Oroville and then up to Oroville Dam - then out to Thunderhill.

Mike --- I don't think that Stan and Sues car is sectioned. It's the same body I have (Westcott) -- It's a 1994 Great 8 car... all torsion bar suspension and the Northstar engine. Killer car but doesn't ride real well. I want to boogie at 65 or 70 and they want to go 50 and bounce all over. Plus it has 4:86's and they're turning 3600 rpms when I'm turning 2000. After this trip they will make some effort to make it a "driver". They have another car and this is really the first time they spent serious seat time in this one.

Both are beautiful rides, no doubt about that.
