There is a track day where you can actually run at VIR on Sep 7,8 I will be there. That track is better in person.

I hope someone doesnt think that is where you fill the car up with gas. That would suck

Rodger is that cage going to be available from CA? Looks like the fit is pretty decent.

It already is. We had to notch eveything to fit, which a majority of the work. But for a prebent Rollcage it fits pretty good. We have added a few bars here and there, but it sure make things easier. For garage guy this cage would go in nicely with a quality notcher.

Default Nice build, fun to watch.

really like the oil filler.

Pettigrew put a cup motor in Jimmy Johnson's 67 and built a custom tank where you put yours. I think that is a good location

Thanks Guys, I liked the oil filler idea but was not sure how it would be recieved. Well we got it togther with the cage tacked in place and most of the sheetmetal fit and hung. This car is coming along well for what I believe is 18 days of work or so. At least that is what the time journals said late last night when I did payroll.

The Marquez taillights and Ricks fuel tank showed up yesterday. The Taillights really make the back of the car. The Ricks fuel tank with new internal BOSCH fuel pump slipped right in. These bolt togther cars are pretty easy.........

We are leaving for Pleasanton and will be displaying the car in the Chassisworks booth all weekend. Stop by and check it out. I will have Musclecar Power Magazines to giveaway. John and Eric should be around for autographs on Saturday and Sunday......

Wow, great progress on the bolt together !

Have you thought about recessing the oil filler cap into the fender to match the gas filler design on the tail panel ? Just some more metal work for the team ....

Enjoy the "rest time" at the show you workaholics !

Thanks for the kind words, We have really put the effort in this week to get the car to Pleasanton this weekend to display it in the Chassisworks booth.

My friend Jason runs it all the time on IRacing, I've used his setup. I don't have it personally, On my Christmas list though! I've been on the track in my ESP WS6 several times, You're right about the section with the S turns heading up to the Oak tree turn, my favorite part too.
