Very cool project Greg. The Speed 33s are very nice, couldn't stop looking at one in Columbus at GG's...I don't know maybe it was the chick that got out of it

How close did you get to the upholstery??

I always THOUGHT they were "hi zoot".... because a large percentage of them are hi tech - shaved - slammed - modern wheels... and I never liked them. It wasn't until Roy said - - NO NO -- let's build one traditional. And I started researching and found out that indeed you could build a very nice traditional rod using this body.

I had offered to buy a '34 body from SAR (Reel Steel) but after looking at the poor fit and finish of those bodies -- and the work the shizzler did on my '32 I was completely turned off by anything he had his hands in. So the Speed '33 fit right in.

Thanks Kurt!!

I know he builds a top notch show car that is driven.... now his biggest job is just keeping me from screwing up the design.

I was a little too tall
Could've used a few pounds
Tight pants points hardly reknown
She was a black haired beauty with big dark eyes
And points all her own sitting way up high
Way up firm and high

You cant go wrong with a 33/34 vert. When those came out in a 32 body they hit a home run, top down convertible..top up and windows up just like having a coupe, Best of both worlds. Let Brizios suggest some of the styling thats why you went there. Troy at Rad Rides put them on a short list as one of the few builders he would have build a car for him, That says something. On a side note...Kelsey Hayes wires with dirt track tires 16s an 18s
