Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

Not sure what you would call my build, I may be coloring outside the lines a little bit to be called pro-touring...but that is where it started.

Its funny, once everybody realized that you couldn't really hear the big kicking stereo over the engine, and rarely ever turned on the a/c, and when we did it was low on freon. What the hell, why put all that heavy crap in there.

The first time I went over 150 mph and carried it for a 1/2 mile or so, in a vehicle as aerodynamic as a brick, I realized the cage was my friend, and I will put up with that extra weight and expense. I personally, am still not ready for permanent door bars on a tagged car. Freakin race car!! I would have said HOMO, but don't think that's allowed anymore. LOL

I do think we need to name this new breed of cars, how about ragged touring, or lets go back to my roots, and call them street racers. Wow they sound stupid, we need somebody creative to get on this.

Hey Ron - If it's not posted as an asterick it's allowed. But the mods'll see this so your prob SOL. Wait, is that ok to say?

Some one at SEMA called it 'Pro-Racing'. I kinda like that as long as the real deal racers aren't around. When they are its 'Pro-Tracing'
