Talking

Wow! I love this thread...

I have this picture hanging on the fridge of the Buick's build c. 2002:

My brother & his Malibu, Dad's Monte Carlo LS and my MCSS are in the background.

Here it is now (paint and bodywork in April 2006):

It is only with the help of family and real friends do things like this materialize.

I have built mine at home except for a couple of things that I cant do like upholstery and I also farmed out the stereo due to the upholstery working with another shop to make custom panels and speaker enclosures then having "the interior shop"(that's their actual name) cover all the panels, and the paintwas farmed out too.

Just getting started-I'll do all the fab work, not sure about paint yet,our bedroom is directly above this shop. Maybe I'll send the wife on vacation for a week or so and shoot it while she's gone!

It is a 6.0l with a vortech supercharger, air ride suspension with mustang II up front and a four link out back. Wheels are 18x8 with 275/40/18 out back and 17x7 with 225/45/17 up front. The rear wheel wells were messaged and it is a tight fit but it works. Interior is leather and suede with a custom 2 piece console and the trunk is boxed in hiding all the stereo and air ride goodies and covered in suede and carpet. Those are the main points. I am running my positive battery cable up to the front of the car as soon as I am done typing so back to work I go.
