In response to those asking in Des Moines last weekend, project "SCAR" is getting loaded on the semi Wednesday and we'll see you all in Columbus! Thanks for following the build. Wish we could have shown you more, but wanted you to have something to look forward to. See you at the autocross! Thanks again!

Default Scar

Dave and Karen allowed me to see some pictures of the finished car and the renderings in which it was fashioned from at the Goodguys Heartland Nationals and I've got to say that this car has alot of creativity behind it. Roger Burman and the Lakeside crew have performed the magic metal work that was required flawlessly and the Leisingers have had quite a bit of input in this "SCAR" cars construction. I'm very much looking forward to seeing this car in person this upcoming weekend at the Ohio State fairgrounds. See you at the autocross.

I think Scar will be very cool. Thrillbilly is bad ass but that air cleaner through the hood is to much for my taste. Looks like Roger has 2 shots at it this year.

I do believe we are shooting a full feature on this car at Columbus for CP

As for the Mopar.. I like Thrillbilly, and I get the air cleaner through the hood deal (given the name) but it just doesn't work for me.

Plus, it would made driving in wet weather a bit problematic..

The rest is very

Thanks for getting it with the air cleaner through the hood detail,Steve. Roger built this car to follow a theme and although it looks wrong to some,it looks right and follows the original concept. On another note,I would like to see Roger throw a set of slicks on this beast and run it down the strip. Would anyone like to guess what this Hot Rod would run ET and top end?

With a name like "Thrillbilly" how could it NOT have the air cleaner through the hood.. lol

Although I can see where it would be a "love it / hate it" deal.. that's what happens when you try to go outside the box.
