I think the seats should work. I thought they may be too wide, but surprisingly there isn't much room in my hip area. The shoulder area where they flare out is going to be interesting - -they Chevy II isn't very wide so I'm a bit worried about how much room I'll have down the center of the cars, but it should be OK. - -and yeah, I love the way they look!

I'm hoping to get the cowl wrapped up this weekend and then move on to mocking up the engine and trans.

Thanks again for playing the role of the UPS man last weekend! It was great to see you. One of these days, I am going to get up to visit you guys.

Maybe I just have a big ass! At 6ft tall and 165-170lbs..... I thought they may be too big for me, but Billy (B&B), as always steered me right.

Did you have any issues with the core support bolt lining up with the subframe?

You mean the the bolts that attach the core support to the subframe? - - Mine bolted right on. It's an aftermarket/replacement. I didn't even try my rusty stock one. I still have it, so I could.

Yeah exactly, my original core suport is way off. I'll have to elongate the holes to bolt it on.

Hmmmm - -I'll be taking mine back apart soon. I'll grab my stock one and put it on there to see how it fits. I'm curious now.

Built a crossmember..... It turned out nice, but may end up scrapping to because I have a vision of a better design in my head that will allow for better exhaust clearance. I don't have a very good picture of it though. I also plated the factory from sub-frame rails... I'll try to take some pictures of this as well.

I've not turned my attention to seat location and getting the floors built. I mocked up the ididit column. I'm using an adapter from B&B Classics to a Sparco quick-release and a Sparco wheel. I bought a Lokar cable throttle pedal setup. My plan is to run a Holley EFI setup with a cable throttle.

I also purchased a trans tunnel from B&B (nice piece!). Again- I hope to have some better pictures once things start to come together.

Bought these beauties................

Dork!!!!

Had to make sure we had enough adjustment for Dad to be able to drive too!

Mocking up the trans tunnel.
