Your not pulling our leg are you? It almost seems like this project may already be finished some time ago and you are posting all these pics in the order the car was completed.

That or you are working 24/7 on this thing! Don't you have to work (job) like the rest of the world? Is this your car or a customers?

Take a break please... Staying alive should be your first goal. Whew. I'm wasted from just checking out all the pictures.

I wish it was finished. My hands hurt. I usually work on it one day, and take the next day off, pickup or order parts, then work another 6-8 hours on
it the following day.

Major items left: Front & back glass, door glass, and radiator. Radiator will be a big deal as I am going oversize. Gotta move a lot of things like AC condenser, dryer, hard lines, hood pin brackets, cut a big hole....

Trunk is finished. Trunk weatherstirp is installed. A little video update:

Doors are DONE, complete with molding, electric windows, handles, etc, etc. Many hours here. But they sound like a new car when they close:



And the front & rear glass and chrome were installed today!





Radiator is 31" x 16", dual pass, inlet and outlet on the drivers side, filler neck on the passenger side, dual 13" 1720 CFM fans and shroud:



A big hole here, I will reinforce it with a piece of angle. I had to remove the A/C condenser and the brackets, cut them, move them to the back of the condenser, bend the lines a little, but it all lines up now. More pictures when I get the upper bracket to the radiator welded on. The lower radiator mounts are just 2 pins ( 1/2" ) with a rubber insulator:



I can almost smell the rubber burning down the road!

The radiator is installed. Upper radiator hose, dual 1710 fans, SPAL PWM dual fan control (one fan comes on at 50%, up to 100% then the other fan comes on at 100%, A/C will turn the initial one fan on at 100%). All the A/C lines have been installed. Front lower grill has been permanently mounted.





The rear seat latches have been finished. Since I did the mini tub, getting all the little pieces to match up and work properly took half a days work. But they are done!

Roger, if you watch my posts, you will see that I take off about every other day. That is because my back is hurting! ha

But I love to build. And .. no I am not retired, just off for 8 months a year. Lucky... yes. Happy... yes! I will be 50 in Dec. I just want to have it on the road!

How long have you been doing these types of builds and on what other cars? You certainly do clean fast work and the quality is there.

I only wish I was half as good...

Thanks. The devil is in the details.

I have been turning wrenches since I was 9 yrs old. 1st engine overhaul when I was 12 (64 dodge PU, mostly by myself but with dads help).

Last big restoration was in 1987. Porche 911 Targa (1976). Went from Ice Green to Chevy Red.

I have the inside almost done. I didn't take pictures, but all I have to do is vacuum and put in the front seats, front seat belts and glove box. After a radiator hose and a cold air intake, I will be starting this puppy.

Well, I took her around the block. I have three issues.

1.) Transmission has got to come back out. The input shaft must be hitting the crank, which makes it act like the clutch is not releasing all the way.

2.) Something is rubbing like a rotor against a caliper, or the like. I was so tired I did not lift it to inspect, but will get to it tomorrow.

3.) Running way rich. Now comes the tuning with the laptop.

No fluid leaks, no brake problems, no other issues at this time. Still got to get the alignment, cold air intake and A/C charge.
