Marty,

If you go with a turbo, that's a whole different ballgame. I am in the middle of doing a turbo build with my GTO, and as you know, the log and turbo are just the tip of the $$$ iceberg. LOL

While I was searching Ebay I accidently found this.

Danger Will Robinson !!!!

Ugh !![/QUOTE]
I guy I follow on YT , Taylor Ray, just posted using that manifold on a Silverado he LS-swapped. The flats below the turbo flange made installing the wastegate pretty easy.

Afternoon Ric,

For now no turbo just thinking about the next stage of the car down the road as I don't want to build another car unless it's a 65/66 Notchback Mustang with and LS Swap.

Oh, I know all about the insanity when you do a turbo build. I already have my eye on a 65 Mustang and if I buy it I would definitely LS Swap it and possible do a low boost turbo set up.

Default Holley Fuel Pump Relay ( 09-15-21 )

Took two weeks off from the car due to family life. But now I am back at it after work and riding.

I have some company in the garage with me today. However who new it was nap time.

Trying to fund a good location for the fuel pump relay.

Since the car is already painted I once again used a Weld Stud.

Yep, it's messy looking but one I spray in the bed liner coating you will never notice.

More wiring.

I had to extend the fuel sending unit wire.

There is now way this was a good ground.

More notes

I will be back tomorrow one the Epoxy dries.

Default Fuel Pump Relay Final Wiring ( 09-06-21 )

Once again I labeled all of the wires.

Sending unit wire

Wrapped with TechFlex Wire Loom. (09-08-21 )

I am struggling with running the wires on top of the tank. I just don't fell like it is safe as the floor pan has been Rhino-Lined and it just seems like the wire are being crushed.

Time to come up with a new way to route the wires.

Default Cylinder Head Grounds (09-18-21 )

Since Holley wants this wire grounded to the back of the cylinder head. Why would it be so freaking long when it literally is only inches away from the bolt that it needs to go to.

Yep, I over stripped the wire.

I did a better job stripping the wire on the passenger side.

Well, Remy fell asleep as it was a beautiful day.

Ran the last couple grounds to the brass bolt that is grounded directly to the battery.

Default Fuel Pump & Sending Unit Wiring ( 09-20-21 )

So I went back out to the garage after talking with a few guys about how they wired there in-tank pump and I decided to try what they have done.

I individually wrapped each wire in Tech Flex Sleeving to protect the wires from abrasion.

It's definitely better so I am going to sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning.

I also ran the sending unit wire next to the power & ground.

Where do you get the Tech Flex without having to buy bulk spools?

Either https://www.wirecare.com/ or Summit Racing

Summit sells it in smaller packages.

Search Techflex Sleeving on Summit and sort price low to high and you will find the smaller packages.

Default Fuel Pump & Sending Unit Wiring Continued ( 09-21-21 )

Back to Plan "B" or is it Plan "C"

I plan to run the wires around the tank and secure them with the "Weld Studs" in multiple locations.
