Thanks Ric,Tony and Rich! I'm so happy with what these guys did. They flew on this job, and not by cutting any corners either. The biggest hold up was me not wanting to take a chance pouring the floor on a chance of rain day. I'm very happy with them.
Rich the car looks kick ass!

Mondays progress. We worked on the bay window today it was almost impossible to open it had sagged so much in the twenty years its been there. We jacked it up and tightened the cables that hold it plus we shimmed the braces that are under it. It works fine now. ( I forgot how easy it opened. ) Then we trimmed it out with Azek pvc board ( no more painting. ).
Next they removed the bay window in the garage and installed the door. I didn't get pictures of the install, I was at the doctors. I had to take them later on . Sorry for the pictures taken in the dark but here they are.

This is from in the garage side. Tomorrow we get stairs. The hole you see to the right of the door was so we could get to the out let to move the wire without disturbing the plaster.

Now from in the house. I still need to insulate and blue board and get someone to skimcoat it. I also have to rewire the outlet on the left . It was connected to the one on the right. I was all set to do it but only had 14/2 and its wired with 12/2. That was a surpirse.

I just got intouch with my plumber. He will come next Monday and move the radiator which is infront of the door.
I called two door installers to get prices to install my garage door. I talked to both last week and neither got back to me with a price yet. One said he would call me Sat. to come see it on Sunday morning. Nothing from him yet.

If I was you, I'd just leave it there. That way, if you get any drafts under that door when you have the garage door open, it will heat up the air before it comes into your living space

Hell yes I'm excited!! The punch list is dwindling . I wish you wee close too. I have to find someone to skimcoat it for me. I have a buddy who knows someone who can do it. Just have to get intouch with them. Its funny My wife hasn't said anything about getting it done. But my daughter wants to have my grandaughters birthday party here on the 4th so she's driving me nuts to get it done.
Northeast Rod Run I may leave it so they can't find me when I'm in there.

Thanks Tony and Jay but thats me mumbling in my sleep you hear!!! lol

They got a little more done today. They installed all the huricane clips and finnished the bottom of the front door trim. They also built the stairs in the garage. They did a great job on them. There very rigid. the treads are made from 2x10s
Here are a couplee of pictures.

I had a little progress yesterday. The plumber came by to remove a 6' section of base board so the door into the garage could be finnished so it could open. I gave him a hand , we started at 8:30 am it was out and plumbed back in by 12:00. Then the fun began we tried to bleed the system. My water pressure is almost non existent. It took forever to fill the system. Then to bleed the air out was fun. We had to do three zones 3 times each. One zone has two kick board heaters, they held so much air it was a pain. The plumber who did the baseboard replaced the kick panel heater in the kitchen a few years ago. When he did he put ball valves on either end so we used them to finally get it bled but it was 3:30 when we finnished. Another 3 hours of extras I didn't count on. But thats how it goes. Atleast its done.
Here's where we removed the baseboard.
