Chris I really love the removable cage.

Not sure if you've seen them before - very simple and clean looking

Very cool idea with the removable cage. Any chance you'll be selling the parts for the home builder to do this? I'd be very interested in this as well as the parts you have made for removable down bars. Thanks.

Good to see that you guys liked the removable cage idea.. The owner wanted that option.. I am still having a hard time with the flange by the main hoop.. I think it looks like too much.. The one by the package tray looks right.. Not set in stone yet.. All pcs. are tack welded.. got more coming in the cage.. but got to design & machine more pcs..

I like the removable cage idea because it gives an option to remove it .. I will be doing one on my 70 Z because when my daughter starts driving it I can remove it & be much safer for her to drive it on the street without worrying about bumping her head.. Plus for insurance purposes.. Some companies don't like them.. Consider it a race car! I think..

We are always working on improving what we do here @ the shop.. Our flanges are machined to inner-lock.. I still think we need to machine more of a lock on the roll bar flanges.. Doing a FEA today confirm the shear strength on them.. Here is a pic of the way they look on the lock.. The rectangular pcs. are for sub-frames when you do sub-frame connectors..

Parts will be availble soon too sell.. I just need to confrim few things .. & machine a new batch..
