I'd still rather have an SB2 setup though--there is just something about them. I had a set for the race car---ended up selling them to fund the chassis setup. It's way outta the box---can't wait to hear this engine running and in the car.

Totally sweet setup DG. That was quite the score.

I am hoping to keep the boom tube but thinking I may add some short mufflers in addition to the inserts I have now. Orinda will not appreciate this noise and I want to be able to drive it around here. The avg age in my neighborhood is 68.

Hey Dave nice setup, a friend of my built and raced a SB2 for NMCA 10" tire class, the ground would shake when he started that thing up. Even more then most of the BB Chevys this car is really startIng to get crazy in a good way
