Last one for the night Upgrading to a Waterproof Relay ( 10-31-22 )
Way back somewhere in this thread I installed Painless fan relay and I screwed up and didn't order a standard fan relay. So I ordered a new Water Proof Fan Relay kit.
Since it is in between the battery and the radiator the batter once again needs to come out.
Thankfully I used a weather pack connector as I was able to just remove the ground from the plug.

Since I keep the car on the optima charger when it is parked in the garage I decided to mock up the wire and see if I could hide it when it's not in use.
I can easily tuck it in the frame rail when not in use.

Today I will be working on all of the various ground wires.
My goal is to make then looks nice and I even have some company in the garage today.
Ground wire from the block to the frame
Wires running back to the battery ( I think I have a cool idea and I hope to share it soon )
Securing the ground wire to the motor mount bolt.
I am finally connecting the wires from the relay to my gas tank.
I also purchased this bad ass headlight switch from a gentleman on Facebook. I am going to have it anodized
black so it blends in with the Covan dash insert.
I have been looking for Intake Tube idea's and I think I found one that I love.

You've set the wiring standard pretty high for the rest of us with your meticulous detail to wiring. I too went overboard with shielding wires and fluid lines around the headers and areas that give off heat, on my starter to battery cable and alternator cable I added the spark plug protector boots for an extra added measure of protection, inverted them to take out the ring. On another note just wondering what single fan you're using? Is it for less fan/rad depth, less air intake tube interference?
Keep up the great work!
That looks really good.
As for the single fan set up. It was part of the Afco LS Radiator / Fan shroud set up that I purchased years ago for the first version of the car. I didn’t change it because it worked so well I’m just going to leave it. I’m still trying to decide if I am going to paint the radiator, shroud and AC condenser. I might leave that for version 3.0.

What should have been a simple project ( 11-14-21 )
What should have been a simple pan swap turned out to be a no go.
Since the current pan on the new transmission from Atomic was a standard depth I ordered a stock depth pan
as I didn't want the pan to hang down and lower then it was. Well this one didn't works so I guess at some point
I will order another one.
Just in case anyone needs to know what size the bolt is
