Yes.....closed cell (wetsuit-like density) to prevent high pressure (fan forced) air under hood going to low pressure area in front of radiator when stationary.
While you're at it......open up the core support rad attach holes and install grommets to prevent twist in the panel from tearing up your tank ends.

Today's project need to be simple as I had a short window to go work on the car.

Man was this stuff hard to find

I know it's shocking but I finally have a picture of me working on my car.

Mike brought over his crimping tool which made the job go much easier as I didn't have to remove the wire.

I really want to buy one of these.

I credit Jason Statham for giving a lot of us the courage to embrace this hairstyle...sure makes station life and shop life easier...

One Question/comment..... on you gas tank vent tube... the valve... if its the one I'm thinking of it has to be straight up/down or the valve doesn't work. I bought one thinking I could get it to work in a spot I had on the frame rail... but if you tilt it at all, the valve closes. So you may want to verify that the valve works in the angle you have it mounted.

Another radiator close out option I used is this one... clips around the core support opening vs. adhesive:

If you take the valve, hook it to a short line of hose and then try to suck/blow through the hose, while tilting the valve....if yours is the same as mine..... you will note that as soon as you tilt it from straight up vertical, even just a little .... it stops functioning. Yep, it's the same one you had and now it's time to look for a new routing & location.

I found the stuff that came from Vintage Air so I just used that. However this looks way nicer.
