Fantastic build!
I noticed you ran a h pipe, did you have enough room to run a x-pipe with the speedtech torque arm? or was it by choice.
Also I noticed you have a custom top frame. Did you have to do anything special to the frame to clear the minitubs? I am debating the torque arm for my vert as well

It was awesome to meet everyone that I got to run in to!

Sema thrash was a totally exhausting experience, but I can't wait till next years!!

I will get some pics up, as soon as my camera makes it back home. It ended up in one of my guys bags that went on to florida, so I am playing the waiting game. We are finishing up a couple little things on the car, and will be doing a photoshoot in a warehouse next month, so look out for that.

Sorry we haven't been posting much, the last month and a half have been nuts!

H-Pipe: Had to do this due to the way the convertible torque arm mounts, coupled with the length of the 6x trans........ I would be very interested to see how anyone fit a true x pipe into a torque arm car though! It is TIGHT if you want 3 inch and don't want it to hang to far.

But an amazing suspension system though! No cutting into the interior!!

Here is our latest piece, it was thought of after paint, otherwise we would have made a pocket and radius reveal for it like the tail lights have from the factory....it will have to do.

The center of the rectangular piece and the dish in the cap will be media blasted for texture and colored a grey like the surrounds of the Marquez tail lights (which the border and chamfer match) and the radial bolt pattern will have cap screws like the Ring Bros. door handles. Also, its not polished yet, we JUST finished it today and wanted to see what it looked like!

I hate my painter right now too, OK it's been 10 years and still don't like the guy, Mine is out of Brighton Co

I haven't been able to find another vert running the torque arm. This might be a make or break it for me on the torque arm suspension, I like everything else about it. Can you post a clearer picture of the part of the exhaust that goes through the torque arm and a side profile pic. I will be running 2.5" with a 4l60e so I might have some more clearance. I prefer not to go DSE but I can get an x-pipe under a DSE.

Thank you

67RS- Here is a pic of the exhaust mockup...... You can see the convertible specific torque arm mount and floor bracing eat up valuable realestate

Thanks Tyler for the detailed pic. Need to figure out maybe Speedtech can modify it for their next version to allow a x-pipe. Kinda like the Hotchkis crossbrace I have now. Holy crap I was going through some old e-mails and I just realized I bought my front coil overs from you last year.

Thanks Tyler

There will be no modifications going forward, the Realestate is tight and this is the best example of how to build the 3" (three) exhaust on a convertable. BTW the Nova has room for an X pipe.
