True that!

I'll argue the motor as it would sound incredible and seriously confuse the enthusiast. Especially since an open air ride is still fresh in my mind.

Either way that car is NICE.

Personal choice I guess... but why no Coyote? I get that the LS is easy, and bulletproof, and all your friends have one, and everything built gets one... It's a super rarity to see a Ford engine in a Ford hotrod.

I was watching Barnum Jackson last night and it really seemed like if it wasn't the OE, it was an LS. It was an LS with those fugly plastic covers on it.

Remember - in this build - I'm going for ultimate simplicity - long distance touring - and hassle free. The LS motors have OBD II connectors and there's a chevy dealer and parts every 15 feet.

Jeff-

We discussed a Roush with 8 stacks... and his personal favorite - a good old SBC with a Crabbyouhater...

I already own SBCs with 8 stacks... I'm never doing a crabbyouhater on ANYTHING in my shed... and other than the sentimental "ford in a ford" there was no reason I could think of in a driver / touring car - to add expense etc to go that route. I don't plan on opening the hood. I don't plan to win any trophies... I plan to have lots of bug badges. I know the LS motor kinda... it doesn't leak - they're cheap - they're reliable - they're lightweight... they're powerful - everybody makes "stuff" for them. It is the ugliest motor in the UNIVERSE...

I should have clarified "for that build" we both know for what you want the Ferrari is too maintenance and tune intensive. How about a Thriftmaster with 6 stack efi?
