I did a more careful test fit of the front glass. Gap is great! Update on my earlier posts on this...for some reason my passenger door sits a little lower than the driver side, I will adjust a little of that out when I do a final door/fender adjustment. I ordered my radiator and core support this week, I'll do the final adjustments once that's installed. On to the rear glass next week!
Sealing up the trunk filler panel. Started with an AMD filler panel, fit pretty good.
This area will be completely sealed, applied rust protection.
Welded the seams both on the trunk side and the rear window side, will be 100% sealed from water. Took some fitting. I welded up the seam between the filler panel and the fender but I will recreate that seam later....just to keep the factory look.
I didn't take any pictures of how the trunk hinges mount, sorry about that! Basically a pin through stock/modified hinges with brass inserts for bushings.
Made an access panel so I could remove the hinges.
John this build is awesome!! I like this view its kick ass!
