Thanks Shannon..... I would love to show how I wired up your remote trunk but we did it so stealth that there is NO trace of ANY wires !
We were able to snake it down the lid, into the trunk hinge, down the backside of the wheel well, across the lower package tray and then down the trans tunnel. We have a really trick idea for the button mount inside the center console.... you will be happy !
For now.... here are some pics:
The battery will be hidden from view once upholstered. Therefor I made a shut off switch mounting plate that will also act as a structural brace once the upholstery panels are layed against them vertically. On the opposite side of the trunk (out of view) I mounted Remote Battery Terminals for charging.

I have been pretty busy and slacking on the updates. No excuses......
"Bitch" is completely wired and plumbed (both fuel system and brakes). The entire rolling chassis is 100% and we are starting to finish the interior and minor details. I will be updating but not to reveal too much untill its completion which is still on target for Columbus 2011. Which at that point will be available for sale

The past few months we have been working slowly on plumbing the fuel system and brakes which is nothing to really take pics of or post.
So here are a few little things that have been done over that time that are worth showing.....
Custom CLEAR glass (for contrast with the black trim and off white upholstery)
Once the all the trim was repaired and scotch brited it was prepared for Satin Matte Black Powdercoat.

All the window trim (and I mean ALL of it) was sent to George Lucas of http://www.glmetalpolishing.com/. George repaired any and all dents and straightened all the pieces before sanding them down with 180 grit. He then puts a red scotchbrite pad on the polishing wheel and meticulously preps each piece. They come out with a smooth yet clean texture for the Powdercoat to adhere too. We had a few pieces that gave us a gard time during assembly and the powder never chipped or became scratched.
As far as the 1/4 windows.... (if you are refering to Vent Windows), they were fairly easy to dissassemble. You NEED to be patient as a few pieces are pretty stubborn from 40+ years of grime.
