Both the 61-62 Impalas are 209”.
This one surprised me, the 65 GTO’s are almost as long…206”.
They didn’t shrink down some until 68-69.

I do remember Greg saying the car was too big for him. They are large cars. I just know Rodger and the crew at Iron Works would have done a great job.
