Default Unfortunately the Front Brake Lines are still leaking (( 11-20-22 )

Just like the title says the front brake lines are still leaking !!!

Which means once again I am going to try to blead the brakes.

Apparently, the line is still leaking as it's constant bubbles under suction and there is fluid on the cardboard.

I am going to replace the banjo bolts since it's the only thing I haven't replaced.

UGH still leaking so I am calling it a night

11-21-22 Update (( I HAD TO WALK AWAY YESTERDAY )

I decided to put on the new lines that Tobin sent me to see if that was the issue. I created this unnecessary little line so I could just plug the line coming from the master cylinder. So many unnecessary pieces but it was fun using all of the pieces I had laying around. Lets just call it an anger management project and it worked. On one of my trips to the Autopart's store for the plug I found a discarded phone case that had the owners ID, Credit Cards and Debit card. Since the address wasn't far from my house I brought it to the address and left it on the front porch. y guess is they stole his phone and ditched the case.

New Lines installed & a slightly larger outside diameter crush washer which I picked up earlier in the day.

Drivers Side Line.

You can actually see the size difference of the crush washer even though it is very minimal.

Clean up time

Hopefully this solves the issue.

Default Fuel Lines and Kicker Blue Tooth Car Stereo (( 11-25-22 ))

I decided to clean out the fuel lines so I can finally start the car. Then I for some unknown reason decided to walk into the rack. Man did that hurt.

Since my head was still hurting I decided to run the wires for the kicker controller up to the shifter.

I will need to put the wires in the tech flex flat loom which I will most likely do later tonight. I just wanted to here it play music.

This will also be wrapped in the flat loom and will be attached with Velcro to rear firewall.

Default 2nd Chance -- More Stuff (( 11-30-22 ))

Picked up the coolant

Order the new Wilwood Electric E-Brake from Tobin at Kore3

Box one is here and she looks a little beat up however it looks like everything is here.

New Bracket Hardware

Box #2 is here and the UPS driver must be a car guy as he tucked the box under the bench on our porch.

I can't wait to install these

Opps I found more parts in the attic.

Default Yep, I found a single U-Joint needle bearing on the floor. (( 12-04-22 ))

So I found a single needle bearing on the floor and of course it's from the driveshaft. I finally decided to remove the driveshaft off and see which U-Joint it could be.

Here we go

You're not going to believe it I found it under the first cap I removed.

Back in and on to the next project.

Default This better be the last time I bleed the brakes (( 12-04-22 ))

Please of Please make this the last time.

I also cycled the suspension to make sure the lines don't hit anything and I discovered the passenger side was hitting the upper control arm. So I loosened the line on the frame rail and took the tension out of it and set on the proper location/rotation.

Installed the top post batter covers since the battery is not hot !!!

Another nice easy project at least on one side and it's a good thing that I have plenty of bike water bottle hardware laying around.

Drivers side dust cover

It looks like the passenger side is going to be put on hold as I have no interest in removing the starter today.

I climbed back up in the attic and removed the Vintage Air controller to see if I could turn off the fan as when I turned the key to ignition on position the fan starts running.

Installed the defrost ductwork. I am not going to lie as I am most likely going to buy some new stuff as it's kindy dirty.

Remy taking a nap.

He did a poor job monitoring me install the washer bottle.

The parts on the shelf is smaller.

Default Intake piping (( 12-06-22 ))

So I ordered a bunch of 4" Aluminum piping from Amazon.

I went out to the garage and I realized I don't need the center section.

This looks like what I need.

12-11-22

Final Mock Up using the tighter polished bend

Looks like I need to shorten the line clamp bolt

Years ago I received at Craftsman Stainless Steel Socket Set. It has come in handy so many times. Once again the plastic grip on it allowed me to hand tighten the line clamp.

I kinda like it.

I will need to add some sort of support bracket.

I will also be installing a 6" long filter so I will have to shorten this pipe.

It's looking good Marty! It is definitely a great feeling seeing it more and more complete, isn't it?
