OR
I need to come up with a more flexable return hose that looks like "steel Braid"

the reason I need this is because I decided to make up my own P/S hoses for my unisteer kit as Unisteer wants you to run some really short hoses that look like ass when installed BUT the aeroquip hose im using with the hard vinyl inner in size 3/8 or size 6 what ever youd like to call it, is not flexable enough to go over the return side nipple on the supplied pump.SO I need a good looking hose that will stand up to the P/S fluid OR a Size 8/18mm Bajo to get everything done.
Sounds like maybe you could go with an intermediary step and run a reservoir in the system.... so you'd go -6 from the rack low pressure side - to the reservoir with a -6 inlet - and then go from the reservoir with a 5/8" hose barb to the return (usually a 5/8" hose barb fitting) on the pump.

update: the situation has been handled. The fitting from DSE worked like a charm. I know I way over paid for it. But I called and had a few questions and for taking up there time the least I could do is buy it from them.$17.00 plus $11.00 in shipping was a little rough since they had the same thing down the street for $12.00 but sometimes you have to pay for the knowledge.

It worked great ,I cut off the nipple and threaded the bung and there was tons of "meat" to make plenty of threads. The only things I caution for anyone who plans to do this mod is: do what ever it takes to keep the plastic shavings out of the reservoir and clean it thuroughly because some will get in their.
The other thing I caution is this pump has has both a vertical and horizontal baffle thats all one piece SO do not bury the fitting to hopefully get it to sit flush against the tank. You will not get any fluid in the return! that was pretty much my only gripe about it. heres a pic:
