I have to tell ya! Being retired - the problem is not what you're going to do all day... but you do have all day to do it in!!

I have two "sayings" being retired...

My friends used to call and say - "what are you doing today" -- and my stock reply was -- Whatever I feel like!

The other is when someone asks what day it is... because I rarely know.. and when they ask how I couldn't know that. I have to tell them that my week has 6 Saturdays and a Sunday.

It's kinda true. But I AM BUSY!

Pahrump here we come!! See ya all there! We are going to have such a good time! Driving or watching - we're going to soak it all in!

Today I tried to do the final dialing in. I need to know if this is close enough. I know I am supposed to try and get the readings to within .0025 difference, but I am at .0035 difference and the offset in my dowels are already turned completely towards the 0. My readings were:
12 o'clock - zeroed
9 o'clock - 14
6 o'clock - 7
3 o'clock - 14

Like I said, the offset in my dowels are already pointed all the way towards 12 o'clock so I don't think I will get them any closer. Will the .001" cause me any problems. Thanks.

Here's a pic of my readings

You should be able to spin the crank 360 degrees and the needle shouldn't move over .010 from you high on low point. Those reading are very strange. Are the readings the same side to side or +.014/-.014? My guess would be the latter which means you need to move your bellhousing towards the positive side.
