Ok, I talked to Frank and entropy and ordered the system. I will keep this forum posted and maybe it will help someone else. FYI. Don't waste you money and order the vintage air fan wiring kit. Save your money it doesn't work for this setup.

I have used several of the Entropy controllers with good results. You may need to change the connectors on your fans. These should work you will need two sets:

I guess I misunderstood the OPs question. I thought he wanted to let the PCM turn the fan on when the AC came on also (like using a GM style pressure switch in newer cars). I also have the GMPP harness, VA, and Entropy stuff. The entropy controller seems to do a great job, those fans pull some amps though!


Similiar stall issues. I have talked to a couple of other guys that have experienced the stall also with the GMPP setup. I am not running a GM crate cam and have had my car tuned accordingly.

The LS3 in my wife's car is bone stock running the factory tune. No stalling etc.

Thanks friends, Don I will order a couple of those connectors. Thanks for the heads up. I am hoping after a different setup that I don't have a stalling problem.
Also, Frank from entropy suggested that I might need a radiator hose sleeve for the temperature sensor on the entrophy system, Is there anybody else or any better idea for the temperature sensor?

You can mount the sensor in the rear of the passenger head.

You can use one of these adaptors but I can't remember which one

Entropy can tell you if you need 1/2 or 1/4 NPT for their sensor.

The entropy sender is 3/8 npt, would need a different adapter than the ones Don suggested. I actually contemplated trying out a stock LS sender in the head. All of those senders -water temp (from what I understand) just send out a resistance "signal". My plan was to compare the readings that the entropy sender and LS sender and see if I could enterpolate them to use the LS only sender. I believe the plug for both is the same. Just a thought.

Interesting. I used an adaptor like the ones I listed. I will see if I can find a link.

Yeah Don, that last link was probably the one you used. I always wondered when using one of those adapters if the larger sensor body would get enough "exposure" to activate the sender trigger. Good to know they work. I had also looked into using one of those radiator hose "couplers". Most of them only had 1/4 npt threaded bung in them. You would have to drill and tap the thing for the 3/8 npt threads. In the end, I ended up getting an Entropy radiator. Nice piece, with powerful fans and it already have the correct 3/8 and 1/4 npt bungs in the unit.
