I'm not wild about this vid series. Too much of a cheerleading commercial, but this one has commentary from the orginal engineer and sorta captures what we strive to do with these older cars.
In April ... I will be unveiling my new "Track Warrior" line of Track Cars.
Think complete turn-key ... 2800# ... state of the art Trans AM/GT1 chassis ... 12.5" tires on all four corners ... mean brakes ... high travel/low roll suspension ... offset 3-link ... 22 engine options ... 600-1000hp ... 10 transmission options ... full safety equipped ... dialed in by me & ready to drive fast ... in any of 40 muscle car/hot rod body styles.

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

Yeah a limited run of those babies got built I think around 1992, and I think it has a flat 6 with two KKK turbochargers, it's just insane, I love watching replicas of the classic le Mans racers being built, and also people who get the real deals on the street, like the Japanese dude who has a street legal Rothmans Porsche Le Mans.

Thanks Todd,
At first I designed it completely for myself. I took all my race car designing knowledge & experience and designed myself a really fun track car ... that will be street legal-ish.
I didn't design it to be sold to the Pro-Touring market. Heck, I didn't even know what Pro-Touring was until I already designed the car, built the chassis, and mounted the body & powertain.
I didn't design it to win any "Street Car" competitions. It wouldn't be fair. These Warrior cars would literally be competitive in the Trans Am series if the right engine & transmission options are selected.
I designed it for me because I wanted a fast, fun to drive, incredibly well handling track car for road course track days & autocross. I also plan to do events like Silver State Challenge with my 36 year old daughter co-piloting plus the 341 mountain road challenge, put slicks on to drag race it and of course to drive it on the street often.
Mine is going to have a full leather interior, insulation, stereo, cool air venting, etc. I could add air conditioning, but I'm going to pass for now & see how I like it without.
I toyed around with a few body styles because I like a lot of different 50's-80's cars. I love the 80's Monte Carlo SS Nascar look. Love the nostalgia of 50's T-birds, Chevies & Fords ... and grew up with 60's & 70's muscle cars. I finally landed on a 9/10 scale 57 Chevy body for mine. I think people will get a kick out of the master list of 40+ body styles I can build these cars in.
