Sorry, but my paint has already been purchased. I don't like red. Interior is definitely not gonna be red. An exterior white is not bad and I contemplated keeping it white, but not going with that either. Here's a pic of the original photo I have of the ladies and the car straight from the dealership.

I understand. I have a hard time 'deciding' on color schemes. Having the factory make the decision lets me off the hook Lol.

Years ago, I did start to paint my 67 SWB truck back to the OE Lt. Green. Once the cab interior & modified rear tubs got some color I stopped right there. I loved the patina OE Lt. Green it was.... I did not like it 'new'. So, it's going to be white (keeping it simple).

Nice parts gathering! I like the whipple, I'll be looking for one when I'm done with my assembly.

Also acceptable would be Rona, and CV-19. I feel all of them would make a great license plate as well lol.

Guys, help me figure out my wheel choice. I'll be getting ready to order wheels soon...what do y'all think?

Wheels are a very personal choice but both of those styles seem to be a little played out imho, especially the Forgeline. If you are going with blacked out moldings etc then I think you should carry the theme into the wheels. Black or dark grey centers and polished lips. Try to carry a theme through the whole build. Maybe get a rendering?

I always liked the wheels on Hellfire, a little more up to date imho.

Just my opinion, it’s your car...

Don

I agree Don. Everyone does have that Forgeline wheel. HRE just came out with this wheel at SEMA. So...as of now, too many people don't have it. You must've read my mind because I want matte charcoal centers with gloss black lips. Yes, molding on the car will be blacked out. The wheels on Hellfire are sick and I like them. But, I like a wheel with a lip and some depth. I think those wheels are a monoblock (one-piece) wheel.
