When properly installed and using ride height sensors instead or pressure you will be fine!
The system is actually very simple once broken down....
Once you setup the system and tell it where you want your ride height at all it needs to do is measure the sensors and open that valve until the sensor is happy and it will close the valve.
I think its a great cruiser type system....reliable and fun because you can just bump a switch and change ride height (not perm. In front or you need to get alignment) but around town you can drop some and fully dump at shows, when parked ect....
Each system has its advantages and disadvantages.
You need to choose which better suits your needs/wants and buy Ridetech...they use good high quality parts....DOT ect...
Highend luxo cars and suv's have air, diesel pusher motorhomes, big rigs, ect...

Air ride is like anything else if not properly installed and used the preception is skewed. Depending on the "theme/purpose" of the car, there is a perfect fit for everything.
Bret, its guys/companys like yours that are making a HUGE difference in the car world! Thank you for all you do and the continued education and development of products.

PhillyspeedNYC...thanks for exposing this opportunity to continue our quest for better components and service. Whether real or perceived, problems are an everyday reality of any product, service or business. The method of resolution is what people truly remember!

Yes air ride does add a bit more complexity to the suspension system.but it can also be fairly simple and upgraded in the future if desired.the system that has been in my belair for over 12000 miles and works flawlessly.pressure controlled system that was in my 81 chevy not so much. however you could still adjust it manually the ride quality is just awesome. air ride has come along way in the last ten years, there is alot of crap out there and there is alot of quality manufacturers and customer support is worth it weight in gold.Personal opinion air ride tech. is on top of there game with support.I love my air and I drive my car hard and often.hope this helps. good luck with what ever direction you go.

I always ask about them when I see a car with a set. The only bad things I've heard is from the "Overhalling" Challenger . I guess if you had a car done for free By a show that you can fix stuff you don't like about it (Or shoud you have to?). He did say he asked for help & was turned away. I think he was having problems with ride height...

Even the best ideas, when poorly executed... do not tell the whole story.
I personally believe that Bret and company don't have that issue. I believe... that they are a group that pays attention to the detail. However, they also don't have the ability to teach every single client every single detail on how to 'do it' right the first time. If they did... there wouldn't be enough time in the day to field the calls. They would be the most sought after company in history.
In the twenty five years I have been doing this... I remember when air suspension was in its true infancy. But today... AirRide as a whole are leaps and bounds ahead... not to mention being the industry leader in said niche.
Even the best ideas, when poorly executed... are poorly executed... and in this case, to no fault of AirRide.

It should also be noted that air suspension, particularly a RideTech setup, is no longer for cruising or shows only. They have proven time and time again that their stuff performs, and performs well. And anybody who watches the company knows they beat on their stuff like nobody's business.
