PM'd.

Cleaning up the chassis rails today, I still have crossmembers to cut off. Should be on the chassis table tomorrow. So far 42 hours have been put into this project, keeping track so others mite wonder why Pro shops charge the money they do for this type of work.

Fitting the frame rails to the table today. Quick mock up of the Corvette cradle and the passengers side frame. Hope the pic's explain how this will be done.I'll spend a day measuring and fitting both frame rails so they are aligned perfectly. Good thing the granno worker made the shed foor 100% flat.

This is where the frame will be notched to lift the cradle up approx 3inches. A crossmember will be added for strength and a radiator support, the engine is set back behind the center line of the front wheels.

LS6 engine

More work in the garage today. Progress is good coming together nicely.

Mock up of the frame rail.

Chassis rail needs to be notched 3 inches, that will give me the ride height I want.

Chassis is level, the torque tube is level, with the cradle being lifted 3 inches it looks like I wont have to modify the trans tunnel

The firewall will need a slight recess of about 4 inches

Yes I do, I was building the One Tonner with the same running gear, a guy opened up his cheque book and brought the chassis. These are ther parts left over like the LS6 etc. F100 is a lot easier to do than the One Tonner.

Before

After

I think it will handle lol, look at the CG with the LS6 engine between the rails compared to the old cleveland. The final mock up for the front is done, i'll now make upper a arm brakets, crossmembers etc. Working on the rear rails today, its 3 weeks since I brought the F100 happy with the speed its coming together at........
