The Hobart I posted is at the top end of my budget as it is. If you have a suggestion in that price range I'm all ears. I just want to be able to weld thicker steel than what I'm now capable of and at least get started welding steel with TIG.

these two would be a better option. having the foot pedal will be much easier to use to learn with. I also prefer using the foot pedal but some people like the finger trigger.

these would be a better option. i haven't used a ever last machine but have heard good things mostly and is budget friendly
