Those are trick.
Jody, I distinctly remember a conversation in your garage well over a year ago when we were both looking at your in-progress car and I mentioned "you know what, billet hood hinges would be really cool."
Looks like I'm beat to the market yet again.
Those would definately sell like hotcakes, but only if the price is right. Are the gas-charged assist cylinders capable of holding up a steel hood? Also, if it was me, I'd press in needle bearings at the non-spherical jointed pivot points or at least some sort of sleeve bearing (they may have already done that, can't tell in the pics.) A composite sleeve bearing would probably be the best option as they would be corrosion resistant. It would suck to have the needle bearings on your hood hinges rust up on you.
