I did see the same thing.....and I am PISSED!!!! I was excited about them and posted them on 3 different sites I am a member of. I even stated between $475 and $550. That was the price late late last night. I made a HUGE mistake and hope SNS members will forgive me. The mistake was that I told Eddie Motorsports what I had done (and the sites) and thought they might become a sponsor to these sites. They are still cheaper, but just on principal I am pretty sure I will never buy from them now. I would rather spend a little more money with a reputable company any day.

So did they change the prices AFTER you told them you posted up on their behalf?

I will call about this tomrrow and find out. Good guys and very enthusiastic about making different parts.

I know they were looking to add the adjustment turn-buckle into the hinge (like the one on the older Ring hinges).. maybe that caused a price increase.

In any event I will call and ask.

They made those for me.. I was going to run them on an SS hood for Penny, but changed plans.

The detail was super good.. fitment was great. The nice part is that they can be coated, polished, brushed or whatever you want since they are modular.

Just to be clear.. besides the fact thier add states $475.. how is posting a price increase "un reputable"? It's not like you ordered a set and then they upped the price on you. Sometimes materials or other things cause companies to have to raise the price of an item

In any event, I will check on this tomorrow and report back

When they launched the new website the $475 machine finish hinge was accidentally not posted up.. the problem has been fixed now. The higher priced hinges are polished or coated.

This is an example of how a simple phone call to the vendor could resolve a problem rather than letting drama ensue.

So next time before saying any company is disreputable maybe drop them a call first...
