There is a real push these days towards "bigger is better" thinking. Turbos, blowers, extra wide tires, increased wheel diameter--even big ass brakes. While weighing out the potential benefits of these components, more attention should be paid to their weight penalty as well. The Lotus Elise and Exige are good examples of less being more.
