Trans cross member. That was a fair bit of work!!! Tons of fun though.

Went for the bolted sub frame connectors. Sleeved them of course. Had to apologize to myself for being so stupid and not doing this before I installed them. Actually remember saying to myself...ah no big deal, you can put the sleeves in later. Had to buy myself a beer.

Trans tunnel fab was next. Tried to keep it tight. Tried to increase both foot wells.

Installed the DSE master cylinder bracket. A few slight mods to clean up the firewall here. Also made some changes to the way the wiper motor mounts so that it ends up level, no clue why factory and aftermarket motors are mounted at some weird angle.

During one of my "hey sweetheart, can you come out and give me a hand in the shop for a few minutes" episodes...my lovely wife actually said...."how come you make so many small cuts of metal instead of just cutting it once?" Because she is beyond gorgeous and I really enjoy her company....I just simply responded ..."cause I'm lame". A proper explanation or smart@ss remark wouldn't have served me well.

All caught up now with the build thread, present day work on the cowl starts now. Wheels and tires should be here in a couple of days. Brakes and rear are on order.
