I like the wheel design regardless of color.
I plan on the factory paint or something very close. I was worried about the gold and bronze clash myself. May look at the satin gun smoke center and a brushed outer.

For the money you could get for this 2,000 mile survivor, you could get a roller with a done body to put the suspension and motor in. It just doesnt make sense to mod a car with such low miles. There were hundreds of thousands made so it can be seen either way i guess. Good luck with the project!

The car has 20,000 miles on it. When I tried to correct the thread on Nasty Z28 it was deleted. Based on the feedback I was getting I figured that it wasn't worth while to try and explain the typo I made.

That would certainly change some minds. Its a really nice car to start with. Look forwad to seeing the transformation! Those wheels will set it off more from the plain stock wheels on it now.

That may match the stripes a little better if you plan to put them back on after the repaint. Also, keep in mind that you can always change the color of the rim centers. It's just paint so don't think you're limited to what the wheel company offers. The important thing is to get the finish on the metal correct the first time, be it a brushed lip or polished lip. Changing the metal finish would cost a lot compared to simply repainting the rims a different color that matches the stripe or paint better. Regardless, I like where you're going with the car that's for sure.

I wouldn't worry one bit about modifying this car even if was a 2k survivor. It's YOUR car, enjoy it as you please. And, as mentioned, they did make a lot of these. Understood that you bought a solid car to have a good foundation (which is smart, wish I had done that..), but I wouldn't shy away from some more permanent mods, especially if not doing them will hinder you from getting the end result you want (a high performning/ good handling car).

As for rims- I also vote for the first one you showed (the 2 tone)

SO after a long and thought out break, I'm changing directions with this car and leave the car as is and look for something new.

Its your car do with it what you want. If you use bolt on parts ,you can always change it back. just put the original parts in storage.
