There is a specific filler, Lab Metal, thats used for powder coating... I know it doesnt help now, but for future reference.

Subframe is sprayed with SPI black epoxy, ready to make this Camaro a roller again.

Im painting my subframe and firewall with Dupont Imron Industrial reduced gloss paint. Supposed to be good stuff and used by builders on the forum. Will let you know how it turns out.
