Nice 3D work but it looks somewhat like a die-cast model car. Not enough detail to my liking. Colors are great. Still not realistic enough.

well..i hesitate to respond ...but i have to..

WHERE DID I ASK FOR YOUR OPINION ON MY RENDERING ??
I DIDNT !!
I POSTED TO HELP THE PERSON ASKING ABOUT RENDERINGS.
I GOT EXACLTY WHAT I WANTED FROM CARTER HICKMAN .
I COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER COMMUNICATION OR PRODUCT.

SEVERAL GUYS INCLUDING MYSELF WHO ARE LONG TIME MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM HAVE SPENT MONEY WITH CARTER HICKMAN

SO I WOULD SAY THIS

PICKING AT OTHER ARTIST WORK ON THIS FORUM WHEN NOT ASKED TO DO SO
NOT A GREAT WAY TO PROMOTE YOURSELF

Thanks to all for their replies and input, insight and guidance.

I would like to comment on the above posts. DVierstra, your commentary was way off-base, and uncalled for. I am a fan of Carter Hickman's work (another artist here turned me on to his creativity - thanks, Brian! - and I can't get enough!), and enjoy his ability to create something unique. Personally, I do not like the hyper-realistic renderings. I like to see an artists' representation and creativity displayed.

Comments like yours are very unprofessional, not to mention rude. I had posted seeking guidance on procuring a rendering, not an art critique.

Radrambler, great rendering, and very cool project! As Andrew McBride posted, there is a lot of talent here, and I commend them on sharing such fantastic work.

WOW! Was not trying to pick anyone's work a part. Just making note of what I saw. Wow...some people are really sensitive!. I commented on the positives but only pointed out what I noticed. That's not a bad thing.

Just my observation. Can't a guy make an honest comment? I have had someone make comments on my work in this forum but did not get upset. A little constructive criticism is good. Not bad. As of today I will not give any more opinions about anyone's work unless I am asked to do so. Well I learned that you cannot make an honest observation and I am very sorry for upsetting anyone.
