Thanks a bunch Charlie! You're two weeks too late. We were looking for something like that to help us install the "bolt-on" March serpentine system on our big block Camaro.

What would be the purpose of that thing? It just makes a huge mess.

Maybe they made it to be in the next Stephan King Book. Ouch!

Or even Better, "Saw 4".

Shreader at a salvage yard?

I know they do a real good job on trees/clearing land. Instead of all the other equipment needed to clear a lot, simply take this one piece and in about a day a good operator can clear a lot and leave only mulch.

Like Bill said, clearing easements for the power company. Our farm has a huge line running thru the back of the woods, every 3 or 4 years they roll thru the easement with something similar and keep the 100ft easement clear of underbrush. The thing 'mows' 100' wide and about a half mile in about 3 hours. Nuts!

Well that makes sense for clearing properties and clearing brush. But for a salvage yard I would think just stripping the parts for resale and crushing up the bulk metal would be a lot more effecient. Pretty scary device though.
