You should have a whole hell of alot more ET in it than that.
What was your MPH and how much does the car weigh ?
MPH usually is a constant and an idea of what a tuned ET should be.
Example.... first pass on our Camaro was 11.50 at 140.
After some chassis tuning and learning the car its a consistant 9.30 @144.
Ours is a naturally aspirated small block that makes 535rwhp in a 3100lbs car.

Great couple runs.... sounds liek a NICE ride !

Is your car a 6spd? This car is a total street car with a/c ect. 3550lbs with me in it. The same set up in the auto car went 7.8..

No, 2spd powerglide which kills short times. If we go to a 3spd TH400 it would pick up about a .10-.15.
I am sure the 6sp is a hairy ride and you have 400lbs on us. But with an extra 700rwhp, I'd think you would run more than only .5 quicker than us.
Dont get me wrong... I am not trying to say anything negative at all.
Its a killer engine for sure. I just feel your vehicle set-up still could be tweeked to get a little more from the whole combo.
And by the way... thats more than impressive for stock axles and trans for sure ! I'd love to see the old stock Camaro 10bolt hold up to a 5,000rpm trans brake launch.

I understand what your saying, if this was a drag car only, there would be a lot of changes. As I stated, this motor has a powerband from 6800-9500, anything under that, you could outrun it in a diesel. One of my old Supras had a completely stock engine with a T72 turbo and a 90 shot of nos, it went 9.81@153 and I drove it home. The auto car went 7.7 last wed, with a stock rear end and axles also. I'm not a auto guy, so I prefer to drive anything with a stick, plus it's more exciting.

Jeff, it's going to a fun event. Woon has over 70+ passes in his car vs my 7 passes in this car.

here is the auto car..
