Default New mwmber with new project

Just a quick hello. Have a frame up custom 1970 GTO under construction. By the end of Nov, the Budnik wheels should be here and I will post up some pics of the frame/suspension and brakes.

A short list of some of the components being used; Art Morrison Max-G frame, C-5 front susp and 4 bar/watts rear susp, Mark Williams modular 9" rearend, Strange double adj coil overs, Baer 6 piston monoblocks all 4 corners, Budnik billet wheels (18"X11" F, 18"X15"R), Mickey Thompson street radials (26X12X18F, 29X18X18R), G-Force T-56 with all custom internals, etc.
Motor is a 542 inch procharged pontiac based on the IA-2 cylinder block.
Never gone to this level before. Having a blast and cant wait until its done (likely ~ June of 2008).

Welcome! Everyone likes pics! Post up whatever you've got. Do you have the IA II motor yet? I'd love to build one for my Firebird. Too many projects right now.

Virtually the entire motor is at the machine shop. A few things that they will need to order(pistons, rocker shaft, etc). The custom Procharger mount
and accessory drive is mocked up and all it needs is to be reproduced (with a few extra details) in nicer material we can have anodized. Right now we think it will be on the dyno in mid-late January. Even if that slipped a month or two, no big deal. Car wont be ready until at least May.

907rs...Drove the car for a while and really enjoyed it. But, I wanted more. Thats what this is all about.
