Also, the block itself is an issue as the cylinder walls are not all that conducive for a blown application.

And lastly, the car itself is being built as a hybrid street/road racer and the blower wouldn't really help in that application either so why do it?

BECAUSE IT LOOKS SO DAMN COOL IN THERE!

The LS7 block can hold FI very well, just not into insane boost just as the other LSx blocks. The issue is in the cast piston and wrist pins. You would get into lifting the heads and breaking the o-ring seals before risking the block IMO.

Having said that, here is your solution, and relatively cheap to boot.

I say no..... your already this far I would stick to the original plan. Rodger and the boys are going ot have to get moving if that car is going to be at Columbus.....

on a second thought...you push that torque tube to hard and find a weak spot LOL....

Weak spot? How do you figure? The carbon fiber driveshaft is before the torque multiplication of the transmission.

I have a story I could tell you of a certain shoot that was shot in a loft that I lived in but I'm sure the moderators are lurking around this thread! LOL!

It's attractive and holds the promise of boundless pleasure. But as you spend more time with it, you will wonder where all of your money went and you might grow tired of listening to it whine......

I'd say the two decisions are exactly the same. Temptation vs. Reality.
