Just when I was feeling good about the gaps and fitment on my car along comes another body man making me feel bad. LOL.

Welcome aboard. Great looking rag top, Bill. I will enjoy watching your progress.

What colors are you contemplating, again? What about the top/interior?

jim ,thanks for noticing the colors are gong to be vw abiss blue & dark tarnished silver {semi gloss} in the middle of the hood and trunk. w med gray hartz top. thanks again bill

Bill,
Does Hartz make tops pre-cut for a 69 or are you just ordering the material and having a shop fabricate it?

What vendor are using for the Hartz?

I am pretty close to looking for one myself and have decided on a canvas or "mercedes" style top. I have heard that it is sometimes called "stayfast". Not sure though.

jim yes i think its' hartz stayfast' .my upholstry guy orders them for me and it only takes about two weeks. for the little extra money its worth it
