Black out the panel with satin black along with the core support, radiator and fender braces, this way the focus is on the engine as soon as the hood is opened................................

Scott I agree. It sticks out like a sore thumb right now. I am sure that is why the guys are saying to paint it.

Engine bay looks great without it. But if you keep it I would paint it to match. Another thing you might want to consider it painting the top of your Optima red top black so it does not stand out under the hood.

Thanks alot guys for the comments, I really appreciate them. I have decided to take it off. To me it takes away from the engine bay and that's not what I want. I really don't even think I would like it body color either. So if anyone needs a close out panel I have one.

Plus the wife wasn't to thrilled with the way it looked. So if she isn't happy then ultimately I'm not.

Nice panel. I think it looks good, but may detract a little in natural form. I'm sure someone else will buy it from you. I plan on going with the DSE.
