Default Twin-turbo, six speed, Air Ride Chevelle

Hope everyone is well. Three items real quick related to the Chevelle:

1) Thanks for all of the interest shown so far. Some nice trade offers and some respectful buy offers but the Chevelle is still for sale. As for trades, what I am looking for is a nice, modern-day driver. IE..an 06-08 ZO6, An 02-04 Porsche 911 turbo or a Saleen Mustang. Something like that.

2) Some people have asked about the underside of the Chevelle. It is completely power coated and painted. There is also Line-X in the fender wells. Many of these same people asked if everything works on the car. IE..A\C, power windows, etc. YES! Everything works on this car...all of the gauges, lights, etc., etc., etc.

3) The car will be at the Good-Guys West Coast Nationals next weekend, Aug. 22-24, if I still have it.

Thanks and take care,
Chris

Default ride height and dash pictures

In response to some requests, I rolled the Chevelle out into the street today and took some quick pics of the car at ride height. After a quick dash around the block (could not resist, too much fun ) I put the car back into the garage and I took some shots of the dash all lit up. When looking at the dash pics keep in mind the stereo is custom mounted in the glove box with an SS logo stitched next to it. I also took a quick shot of the pass side lower rocker to show off the straight lines of the car, the painted frame rails and the 315 tire (tucked inside the Detroit Speed and Engineering (DSE) mini-tub kit. This kit was reversed mounted to allow for 20 inch, wide rims without giving up any of the back seat. At any rate, here is the link to the pictures I took today:

Like before, to really see these pictures well you need to click on the link and once at the site, click on any one of the pictures to start a slide show of 5 X 8 pictures. Once the slide show starts you can click on any 5 X 8 picture to see it in full screen.

Take care,
Chris

Default correction and some cool news

Hope everyone is well. Wanted to post two quick items about my Chevelle. One is a correction and the other is some cool news.

1) I had posted earlier that the Chevelle would be at the Good-Guys show in Pleasanton this weekend. This is not the case. As John Drummond reminded me (thanks John) the nationals are open only to cars up to 57. So, the car will not be there.

2) Some good news. Ron Kimball (http://www.kimballstock.com/index.asp) has asked to put the Chevelle in a 2010 calendar. Pretty cool. Ron does amazing work and I was lucky enough to work with Ron a few years back when I had a 69 Camaro.

That's the scoop.

Take care,
Chris

Dennis,

Thanks for the kind words and it looks like you already "have one of those cars". They are nice huh? Your 65 is simply awesome.

Also, I just shot you a PM.
