Good point. As I compare the pics, I am thinking a 9.5" setback from current placement would be too much....

Yeah we already talked about machining over that restomod advertisement on it (you can't blame them I guess) or doing something to cover it up. Black anodized or powdercoated would be a good idea too.

damn, I am really on the fence about this....

You asked... IMO I think it looks bad, like a mistake and here is the bad fix.

Yeah I can see that happening too. But what I originally planned on doing is done over and over and over. But it is proven to look good and work too. Hmm.

looks like a great idea with flawed execution.... i dont like that its only bolted to one side.. would like to have seen it fork on both sides of the tranny and shifter.... looks like somthing that will go loose over time...

If you are not building a race car I dont think its rigth for the style you are going after. Looks to stock car and if you are going for smooth this is not it IMO
