I'm just waiting for the other quarter and roof to show up at Summit. I've got those areas prepped and ready to go as soon as they get in. Pics will follow soon after.

Quick question for you body guys: What do you use to fill in the area where the drip rails and roof meet? There was some sort of sealer/filler in there. I've been told mar-glass and filler. What about metal based filler?
Thanks for the input

Thumbs up

Wow. I thought that I was brave when I tried my first panel replacement (quarter skins) but your taking the "baptism by fire" thing to a whole new level. Everything looks great. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the compliments. I'll post up some progress pics this week. I finally got the driver quarter panel sitting right. When I first popped it on, it sat about 1/2" higher than the door. I ended up cutting at the bottom edge to get it lower. The passenger quarter went right on with no issues. I should have the roof fitted by this weekend. Then it's fenders and making sure all the gaps are good before I weld it together.
