Thanks guys, but right now until I get everything in house I am on hold with these transmission kits. I was drop shipping a lot of the stuff and it was a nightmare on kits with this many components. So as we speak I am putting stuff on the shelf so I can ship from here. If you have to have it now, go see one of the other boys. And when I get this streamlined like it needs to be we will be back in the game

Keisler was great with my project. Had no issues with them. But I do like the idea of going through Frank!

Default KEISLER is now a Lateral-g Sponsor

Hi Folks,

I just wanted to let you know our company has joined as a sponsor. With that means we are here to provide you with in depth tech support and know-how of Tremec 5 & 6-speed manual transmission and our A-41 automatic overdrive kits.

I started the custom engineering of Tremec TKO 10 years ago, and we are Tremec's largest volume distributor.

Our members here are Shafi Keisler (KEISLER), Gene (KeislerGene), Jeff (KeislerJeff), and Richard (KeislerRich). A lot of you have known or worked with several of us for many years now.

Our engineering manager was the principle design engineer of the T56 6-speed at Borg Warner, so we have a lot of experience in manual transmission.

Please see my post on the Welcome Board to learn more about our company.

While there are a many Tremec "distributors" there are only ten (10) authorized distributors that buy the product direct from Tremec, and we are called the Elite Distributors. All of the downline distributors buy from the Elite distributors. We are the largest Elite Distributor, and have sold many, many thousands of new Tremec transmissions over the years. We are one of the few Elite Distributors that actually is a warranty center, and we are located just 20 minutes from the Tremec factory here in Knoxville Tennessee. We also do complete installations inhouse, and have a network of installation centers nationwide. Some of our top installation centers, like GearHead Garage, are sponsors here as well.

From our wide and highly custom engineered TKO, T56, T45 RS, A-41 transmissions, we offer 3 types of transmission kits:
1) Essentials Kits - a minimum grouping of installation parts
2) ClassicFit Kits - a complete kit, custom engineered to put the shifter in the correct position using an offset bolt on shifter mechanism similar to what is found from a few other suppliers. It includes a driveshaft, our PerfectFit crossmember, speedo cable, and all other parts to install
3) PerfectFit Kits - this is the flag ship of our product line and what started the Tremec overdrive revolution for classic muscle cars. This is a highly customized transmission, with a true internal offset shifter to bring the shifter through the tunnel hole in the correct position with minimal or no cutting to the car. The PerfectFit is has a custom machined case, short throw quick release shifter mechanism, and numerous other mods. We build these in-house.

All of our product is 100% tested for quality on our automated test machines:
1) Leak check through Air Decay Inspection Machine
2) Synchro & Operation check using a sophisticated and very expensive machine formerly used by Muncie Transmission / New Venture Gear
3) Human sensory check
No other distributor offers this level of inspection or quality check equipment with their process.

All of our product is bar coded for accuracy and we quick ship. Essentials and ClassicFit kits are often shipped within 1-2 days. PerfectFit kits are often shipped in 3-5 days.

We inventory all of the parts to do complete swaps from automatic to manual, or from automatic to automatic overdrive. We buy direct from all sources or manufacture it ourselves, and pass the savings on to you.

In a world of Walmarts looking to take American jobs overseas we make more than 99% of our product right here in the USA. From shifter handles, to bellhousings, to clutch kits, crossmembers, driveshafts, etc, etc. There is a LOT of Asia/import coming into the performance market, and when you are shopping, ask the salesman where the parts are made. For example, a commonly found Zoom/Perfection clutch kit is China, many "cast" low buck flywheels are China. Sure, you will save a few bucks, but in many cases the American made product can be purchase for the nearly the same cost.

We welcome PMs, emails, forum discussions, phone calls - what ever it takes to help you plan and execute building your dream machine.

All Lateral-g members get Special Pricing, so make sure to mention you are a member here. We sell direct and through Value Added Resellers that install the product.
